![]() usb 1-1.4: New USB device strings: Mfr=0, Product=0, SerialNumber=0 usb 1-1.4: New USB device found, idVendor=0513, idProduct=0318, bcdDevice= 1.00 usb 1-1.4: new low-speed USB device number 8 using xhci_hcd usb 1-1.4: USB disconnect, device number 7 Even with alternate wired keyboard etc plugged in it doesn't recognise any input yet the PI beeps on keyboard "overload" - makes me think driverĬode: Select all v3d fec00000.v3d: MMU error from client CLE (4) at 0x198e1000, pte invalid.The Rii i8 is working (as proven when plugged in to other computers.I have tired rebooting - still no keyboard/mouseĪll of the above has three clear conclusions.But perhaps most bewilderingly, if I have a text editor open and try typing characters in although no text appears on the screen function keys do nothing if instead I try to type multiple keys simultaneously, then the Pi beeps - so it is getting input, just not recognising it as keyboard.Bullseye is fully updated via "apt update" and "apt upgrade".Plugged the Rii i8 in to a windows laptop - it works perfectly (there isn't a keyboard lock mode nor is it in RF mode).So tried plugging a USB memory stick in to each of the USB2 ports - both recognised the memory stick automatically and can access the stick's contents.Tried unplugging the Rii i8's USB replaced it with a wired keyboard and a separate wired track ball - neither work (which made me wonder that it is a hardware USB issue.With the Rii i8 plugged the cursor is unresponsive to the touchpad if I open a text editor (via NoMachine) typing via the Rii i8 keyboard achieves nothing) but (see the last bullet point).via sudo raspi-config I have tried selected a different generic keyboard layout hoping it would kind of reset/rediscover the wireless keyboard - no joy.The Rii i8 is fully charged and I have done the Rii i8 to USB dongle pairing which all works perfectly - the "not paired" flashings isn't flashing.All of the tests below refer to the USB2 ports.Tried a few things to narrow down what the issue is: I use the Pi mainly remotely via NoMachine but the Rii i8 keyboard has until now worked all OK. Newbie here - rather mystified - I have a new Pi 4g 8Gb with a fully up to date Raspberry OS V11 Bullseye installed for about a week now, and I am using it with a Rii i8 wireless USB keyboard/touchpad/remote-control (because intended use will be as a personal TV recorded running TBHeadend)
